There are three key applications of this personality profiling tool:
- Stand-alone assessment – individuals complete the questionnaire and receive a report about their personality profile.
- Preceding a performance coaching engagement – the report is discussed with the individual and the coaching programme is then designed to take the personality styles in various workplace or personal life scenarios into consideration.
- As part of Aikaizen’s course “Personality and Performance at Work” – course participants receive training on how to gauge other’s personality styles and how to get the most from similar and different personalities in various workplace scenarios. (see course outline here: “Personality and Performance at Work“)
The Personality Wheel
As you can see from the picture, the Persona Pro™ Personality Wheel differentiates eight personality types. Our questionnaire takes less than 20 minutes to complete, and respondents have indicated that it delivers a high degree of accuracy regarding their personality style.
Challenges in Personality Profiling
Many people do not like the idea of being “classified into a box” and being labelled, e.g. Patient Planner. The key to remember is that you have all aspects of the personality wheel reflected in your personality profile. However, most people have a dominant personality profile in most situations, and possibly an alternative personality profile in stressful situations where they are not able to think before reacting. Understanding your dominant profile, and those whom you interact with, can create much more enriching interpersonal interactions with people not only at work, but also in your personal life.
Please contact us to discuss your personality profiling needs and how we can help your team members collaborate better through improved understanding of each other.
