Aikaizen  was initially presented to its clients as Peak Performance for Business Ltd, which was incorporated in England in 2001. Our name change to Aikaizen in January 2009 marked the next milestone on our journey to excellence in what we do.

Meaning of “Aikaizen”

The word “Aikaizen” was created by the co-founder and Managing Director of Peak Performance, Ms Emanuela Giangregorio, who has for many years fully embraced the Japanese kaizen philosophy of continuous incremental improvement, both personally and in business.   As an Aikido practitioner and a Kaizen enthusiast, she was inspired to create the name Aikaizen.

In the Japanese language,
“Ai” = “love”

“Kaizen” = “improvement“ (or more specifically, continuous incremental improvement)

So the direct translation of Aikaizen would be “love for improvement”.
